TEAM WOEI: SNEAKER OF THE YEAR 2022
To say that this year has been chaotic for us would be an understatement.
As the interests and tastes in sneakers are very diverse in our team, we've decided to pick only one of our favorite sneakers that were released this year.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Low x Travis Scott 'Reverse Mocha'
The Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott Reverse Mocha is my sneaker of the year.
I have all the colorways that have been released before, but when I see them all next to each other the Mocha colorway is the most beautiful of them all.

Nike Air Max 1 NH 'Treeline'
The Nike Air Max 1 "Treeline" is my sneaker of the year. I've never been a big freak about the Nike Air Max 1, but after the Air Max 1 had been absent for a few collections, some were released after a while, and I grew a liking for these.
This colorway doesn't have the most premium materials, but I like them because of the colors. They also remind me of the Nike Air Max 1 "BRS", which I've never had.

JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 'Olive'
I chose the New Balance 990v3. This model is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and comfortable silhouette that New Balance has to offer.
New Balance gives the best overall support, and in combination with this colorway, the brand offers my favorite sneaker of 2022.

New Balance 1500 '40th anniversary'
This sneaker takes me back to my puberty when I used to wear this silhouette a lot.
Now, I like to wear this one in particular with the beautiful premium materials. We went to the factory of New Balance in Flimby this year, where we had the opportunity to see how the process of making a pair of New Balances unfolds. Because of that experience, I appreciate them more, and I wear them with love.

Nike Air Jordan 4 x A Ma Maniére 'Violet Ore'
The Nike Air Jordan 4 x A Ma Maniére are my sneakers of the year. The details on this shoe are on point.
I love the quilted sock liners and insole, together with the text "It's about where you're going" and "It's not about the shoes" behind the back pull tabs.
The meaning and the look, everything together really is the perfect sneaker.

New Balance 2002r 'Gray'
I chose this New Balance because of the colorway. They are very simple looking, so because of this, they fit with pretty much everything.
In addition to fitting them fitting in with what I normally wear, they are also comfortable, which is a nice bonus.
