WOEI presents the New Balance 1000, straight out of '99.
New Balance (re) introduces the 1000, an archival running style originally released in 1999, with a comprehensive homage to all things Y2K.
The 1000’s innovative design is taken to another level, with design cues taken from the early 2000s combination of luxury, futurism, and streetwear that completely redefined the fashion landscape.
The reissued 1000 brings a turn-of-the-millennium classic out of the archives. The 1000 embodied the era’s bold, futuristic styling with a streamlined, yet intricately detailed design. The standard mesh upper and synthetic overlay design is inverted, with mesh underlays, emerging from the more prominent overlay panels, for a refined, tech-inspired look. A segmented sole unit features ABZORB cushioning at the heel and forefoot, with a Stability Web midfoot shank.
